Area

The building is on this famous street in the 11th arrondissement. The area, from Bastille to Nation, once famed for the prison that was stormed so notoriously on July 14, 1789, is today known for its plethora of ethnic restaurants, its funky bars and clubs… The street is famous for its art work, carpenter and sculptor boutiques dating back to the court of Louis XI. The building is conveniently situated close to the famous Bastille area and is a short walk to two different nearest metro stations (Faidherbe-Chaligny and Reuilly-Diderot). It is both secure and lively.

Transportation

Metro line 1 goes to le Marais (10 mn), le Louvre (15mn), Champs-Elysées (20 mn)… Metro line 8 goes to Republique (10 mn), Opera Garnier (15 mn), Madeleine (20 mn)… Many bus lines go through the area, especially line 86 which goes straight to St Germain des Près in 20 mn.
